Dennis loves working at Westmount, with its big firm resources and absence of bureaucracy. He grew up in Torrance, where he was the oldest of four kids. At UC Berkeley, Dennis flirted with physics but ended up receiving his BSBA from Berkeley’s Haas School of Business. An internship at Bank of the West earned him a little money, so he promptly invested it. He enjoyed the experience so much he made investing his career.

Dennis’ first job was in client service with an investment firm in Northern California. After a couple years, he decided he wanted to join an exceptional firm in his home town. Some research and networking landed him a client service position with Westmount in 2008. In 2012, that evolved into his current portfolio management duties, which include serving on the firm’s investment committee and creating comprehensive financial plans designed to help individuals and families achieve their life goals.
