It was 1990. Bob Berliner, a finance, energy and aviation entrepreneur, and his son Jim, a former federal prosecutor, saw an opportunity — to deliver truly individualized advice from an unbiased source. The firm they established combined Bob’s expertise in financial markets and passion for innovation with Jim’s intellectual rigor and commitment to fiercely protecting client interests. Our team continues to embrace those same values today.

From the beginning, we were independent and objective. We were among the first to adopt the fiduciary advisor model that eliminated commissions — and conflicts of interest.
