Mike’s career parallels the evolution of the industry. A Southern California native, he started as an intern at Prudential Securities while still studying economics at U.C. Irvine. He remained with Prudential after graduation, as a commission-based securities broker selling municipal bonds. In 1995, he moved to Charles Schwab to move away from the conflicts of interest inherent in brokerage firms.
In 2002, Mike joined Westmount, one of the first firms in L.A. to adopt the fiduciary model and align the interests of client and firm. In this environment, Mike is able to dedicate all his energies and expertise to helping clients transform their wealth from a source of stress or unease into one of comfort and security. When he’s not working, Mike can be found dragging his family to jazz clubs.
