Dimitri Krikelas
Partner, Chief investment officer -private markets
Dimitri had a colorful bi-cultural upbringing here in L.A. The son of Greek immigrants who came to America in the 70s, he grew up listening to 80s music and watching the “Show Time” Lakers. He earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in economics and an MBA from UC Irvine.
Since joining Westmount in 2010, Dimitri has distinguished himself with his alternative investments research, particularly within the realm of private assets including real estate, private equity, and private credit. In 2019, he launched Westmount’s first diversified, multi-manager and multi-strategy private investment fund targeting institutional funds seeking growth and income, which he continues to guide today as co-chief investment officer focusing on the private markets. Dimitri also serves on the firm’s investment committee.
Before joining the Westmount team, Dimitri worked in real estate management, mergers and acquisitions, and investment consulting, including serving as director of analytics at Canterbury Consulting.
