Meet our new hires

While pursuing his economics degree from Occidental College, Nate discovered an interest in sustainable investing. He became a research assistant in Occidental’s economics department, supplementing his undergraduate studies by focusing on renewable energy in the European Union. He was also a member of the college entrepreneurship club and worked for an on-campus tech startup.

    Sanaa Kamal, Senior Compliance Specialist

Sanaa joins us from an international payments firm, where she served as Senior Compliance Associate. Previously, she was a practicing attorney in the area of securities law, with specific expertise in SEC and FINRA compliance matters. Sanaa obtained her Juris Doctorate from the University of Florida’s Levin College of Law and a Bachelor of Arts (cum laude) in Psychology and Political Science from the University of South Florida.

    Eric Lin, Associate

Eric spent his early childhood growing up in Taiwan before arriving with his family in Arcadia. He went on to study economics at Occidental College, minoring in East Asian Studies. Following graduation, Eric joined Arcadia-based healthcare startup Clever Care Health Plan doing investor relations, provider contracting, and overall business development.

    Isaak Ottmar, Associate

Isaak grew up in a small town in rural Washington State, eventually making his way to Los Angeles to attend Occidental College. There, he was a member of the Economics Student Association and played varsity basketball for two years. He also honed his financial skills as an intern with a local CPA firm, working closely with the firm’s forensic and audit teams before graduating a year early with a bachelor’s degree in economics.

    Sam Pecka, Research Analyst

After graduating from the University of South Carolina, where he double majored in finance and management, Sam joined the international investment firm Barings (owned by MassMutual) before relocating to Los Angeles to join a single-family office hedge fund as a precious metals/generalist investment analyst. Now at Westmount, Sam facilitates the investment team’s various research needs across the public and private markets.
